Infinix was founded in April 2013 by Benjamin Jiang of Transsion Holdings as a youth-focused smartphone brand. First phones were launched by the brand in Nigeria, Kenya and Ivory Coast. In the year 2014, Infinix launched the Hot Series in budget smartphone segment and Zero Series in flagship smartphone segment. It quickly became the fastest-growing brand in Nigeria and Ghana.
