Skechers was founded in the year 1992 by Robert Greenberg. The company commenced operations by producing men’s casual street shoes and utility-style boots. In the year 2011, Skechers launched its sportswear line for athletes.

Skechers is the third-largest brand of athletic footwear in the world.
