Lloyd brand has its origins in Lloyd Electric and Engineering Limited established in the year 1956. Lloyd Electric and Engineering Limited commenced operations by producing heat exchangers, cooling coils and components for refrigeration and air conditioning systems. Subsequently, the company entered the consumer durables market by launching home appliances under Lloyd brand. They included air conditioners, washing machines, LED televisions and refrigerators.
